Santa Tomorrow… Me and Kris and Lisa and a number of other writers around town, plus 25,000 to 30,000 or more other humans are all going to dress up in our matching Santa outfits, hats and all, and do 5K around the streets of downtown Vegas. Oh, my, god, is that fun and just head-shaking stupid. Well, That Was Fun…
Holiday Adventure And A Sale… The sale you all know about from last night. And I will answer a few questions below, but first a holiday adventure. Started off a couple days ago when Kris and I were talking about maybe not having enough turkey for leftovers because we had a small turkey and five people planning at dinner. We both really like leftover turkey for a few days, so on a whim out shopping, I grabbed a second bird. Our Holiday Season Started
With A 5K Run/Walk Under the Holiday Lights Three miles of holiday lights with over 2,000 people, mostly families, in pajamas. It is held at the big Nascar track and they decorate the entire area under the grandstands, around both ends of the track, and along the edge of the big track. Three miles of some of the best holiday lights I have ever seen. For the entire holiday season it is for cars to drive around under it with their radio tuned to a holiday music channel. Back to Full-Time At All This Tomorrow… Today I turned in another issue of Smith’s Monthly and did some email catch up today, but tomorrow I am going to spend most of the day catching up on email and reading manuscripts and other stuff. A Couple Updates…
Yes, I Am Still Reading… Over this last week I read a bunch of stories from the Monetize and Writing a Pulphouse Story workshops. And even made offers on two of them for Pulphouse. But since I am really working to give every story a fair shot, meaning my eye isn’t tired and I have time to read the entire story if need be, the process is slow. A New Challenge
Working On It… Kris spent time with me today as I worked over a possible new challenge for next year. Not going to start anything from my birthday to my birthday again. The new challenge I am thinking about is going to take some build-up, so it will start on January 1st, 2022. And sorry, not yet going to say what the writing challenge is going to be because nothing is set. But I can say that to do this challenge, I need to lose about 20 pounds and be in shape for some distance running starting in January. Yes, losing the weight and being in shape again will make…
