Only a Few Hours Left… The Pulphouse Fiction Magazine Subscription Drive 2024 Kickstarter campaign is in its final hours. We have hit enough stretch rewards now that all backers will get ALL FIVE crazy Pulphouse anthologies (published spring 2025), two issues of Fiction River, a six issue subscription, and also a chance to submit a story to Pulphouse in August, September, October, November, and December. Writers Getting Mad At Me… Not really a surprise. I am totally used to it over the decades because people don’t like my outspoken nature especially when it grinds up against a dearly held myth of theirs. But at the moment they are angry because they feel they should be able to submit to Pulphouse Fiction Magazine without being a subscriber first. Not kidding, but outside of a Kickstarter promotion, not even subscribers can submit to the magazine. Branding… An Example
Not Sure Where This Will Fit In the Series of Branding… But I wanted to talk about a branding example at a middle level. Big level is things like Barbie, G.I. Joe, Toy Story, and so on. They grew from small and middle into monsters. The brand has items for sale everywhere in every form imaginable. Small levels are something like a new fantasy series with a small Kickstarter and a growing audience. No web site yet for the series, no Shopify store, no merchandise. Four Months of Pulphouse Submissions All Read… Thank you, everyone, for giving me a chance to read and possibly buy a story for Pulphouse by backing the Bryant Street Kickstarter back in February.
