Two New Projects
I Am Having A Blast… Working on two new projects. One you will see in a day or so and has a lot to do with the Shared World Class. And I am madly working on finishing a new Cold Poker Gang novel for a coming bundle. Yes, it is a cat novel. Not kidding. I seldom talk about books and stories I am writing here. But got a couple short-challenges coming up I may do the old daily writing report I haven’t done for a while. We shall see. Early Bird Discount Ending
Sunday is Last Day to Pay… Anthology Workshop will be March 8th through the 11th, 2021. I WAS WRONG WHEN I POSTED THIS THE FIRST TIME. 8TH THROUGH 11TH. MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. Group list will start in late summer. Writing will start in late November. We have made it cheaper for the writers to attend by moving it into weekdays, when room rates are very low, and also having it be only four days. Plus plane fare is cheaper flying in on Sunday and out on Friday. We will still do at least six anthologies, so that will not change. Just cheaper to attend. And we are making it one…

A Group of Writers
From a Long, Long Time Ago… The picture below is of Kathy Oltion, Jerry Oltion, Kent Patterson, Kristine Kathryn Rusch, Dean Wesley Smith, Robert J. Howe, Christina York, Steve York and Kij Johnson in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. We had all gone to that house for a weekend of writing short stories. The picture was posted by Nina and I think was about 1991 or so. I wrote “In the Shade of the Slowboat Man” at this weekend gathering along with two other stories. And yes, wow were we all young. Up Too Late…
Way Too Late It Seems… Except that I am only up to my normal time, but since I have been getting up early, Kris is worried. I hate to make her worry, but honestly I can make it on five hours of sleep a night for five days just fine. Past that, not so much, but for a major workshop like the anthology going on right now, talking with people late into the night is great fun. And only another day.
