New Videos In Shared World Class

Plus the First Assignment… There will be numbers of assignments and stories to write over the months of this Shared World class. Going to be great fun, so any of you in the class, make sure you find time in the next few days to take a look. The assignment isn’t due until the 15th, but it will take some time to do correctly. And for those of you thinking about taking the class, I will shut it down on the 8th of December. Held it open longer than I had planned because a few people asked. So if interested, don’t delay and miss it. I will have new videos…

Six weeks of writing, a lot of reading, and a…

    Some Questions About Master Class

Got Three Major Questions… — A number of people asked if they paid now for the last Master Business Class to hold their spot and something happened and they couldn’t make it, what would be the policy on the money. Basically, it is fully refundable or transferable up to one month ahead of the workshop, then if within one month and you cancel it is only transferable. We all have life events, so that’s what we can do. — Who will be teaching next year? Well, we have talked with a number of instructors and later this spring will start putting the staff of instructors together. But you can see…

    November and December Regular Workshops

Only Six Regular Workshops Per Month… As I said, a lot of workshops are headed to Classic Status in the first of November, and with teaching the How to Write a Pulphouse Story and How to Write a Holiday Story workshops in the next two months, we decided to not add in any more new regular workshops in the next two months. But there will be new regular workshops after the first of the year. And you can still sign up on the How to Write a Holiday Story for seven more days on Kickstarter through the WMG Holiday Spectacular. That is the only place that workshop is offered. It…

    Great Rewards In New Kickstarter

Been Sending Out Codes for Workshops All Day… And it dawned on me that many of the people I was sending codes for lectures and workshops from the Pulphouse Kickstarter didn’t know there was a new Kickstarter from WMG starting up. And it has great workshop and lecture rewards as well. The WMG Holiday Spectacular is going to be a calendar of stories for 35 straight days. That’s right, in your mailbox you get a new holiday story from Thanksgiving until January 1st. But we had to do the Kickstarter here in Oct0ber to make sure we got through everything and had time to get everyone on board before the…

    October Workshops Starting

Plus the How to Write a Pulphouse Story October… If you signed up for that workshop through the Kickstarter and want to take it in October, write me at once. If you have workshop credit from the Kickstarter, you can use it against these October workshops if you want. We will have everything out later in the week as surveys get back in. The Regular October workshops are starting and for a few of these, this will be the last time they are regular workshops with homework. They are headed to classic status. However, if you are a lifetime subscriber, you can still send in the assignments on those. But…

Romance Workshop Going On Here Now

And I Am Recording Kris’s Lectures for the Study Along… I realized tonight how really good these Study Along workshops are. Kris does a ton of videos about books on her reading list, then assigns stories, and I record her lectures from my point of view on a topic. And if you are taking the Study Along, you can turn in a story by the deadline and I will read it. First assignment of the Romance Workshop Study Along I ended up with 12 stories I will be reading over the next day or so. And just tonight I gave out story assignment #2. And the best deal is the…

    Forgot To Mention

All Short Stories Are Read for the Challenge… I am finally back up to date to this week. Really fun reading, to be honest. Sadly, numbers of writers have now dropped out and I only have five novels to read for the novel challenge, which I will be doing this next week. So both the Great Challenge for a short story per week and the Great Novel Challenge for a new novel every two months has lots of open spots. Come on folks, keep me reading. I really do enjoy it. Even when I get behind due to other things, it was a blast focusing on reading and getting caught…
