Yes, After All These Months… It is now available. And the sixth one in the series, IP Valuation, will follow tomorrow night. Anyone who signed up for the series of advanced business lectures should have gotten a code from me already. If you did not get a code, write me. The new lecture is on copyright. 14 videos for $50. You can find it at: https://wmg-publishing-workshops-and-lectures.teachable.com ————- Also, a couple of the Pop-Up workshops only have two spots left open in them. Update On Coast Workshops
Weekends Tend to Be Slow Around Here… And it is often on weekend nights I almost forget to post something here to keep my four-and-a-half year blogging streak alive. Tonight was one of those nights. So to make it easy on me and clean up a little more business, here is an update on the status of the coast workshops I sent out to the major coast workshop email group. (You attend a coast workshop here, you get on the big group with over 200 professional writers.) Write me for information if you have questions. Workshop descriptions are here. — April Fantasy Workshop... Full and reading. — Great Bundle Workshop……

Fun Idea From Vegas
Sitting In Las Vegas… In the Golden Nugget Buffet, of course, talking with Lenny, a friend of mine who happens to be the son of my best friend. Lenny is now well into his thirties and is successful in the music industry. He and I were talking about Teachable. (His dad, my best friend, was off running an errand, so we weren’t boring him.) Lenny said he was thinking about setting up a tip of the week on Teachable and that I should think about doing that for writers. I liked the idea, since Teachable allows subscriptions and other things I was planning. So I came home on Monday and…

Curriculum Updated and More Information
Finally, After A Year, the Curriculum Updated… The Curriculum now includes all the new writing and publishing workshops from the last year and the new Pop-Up Weekender workshops we just announced. No workshop doubles up information. All of them are unique and focused in an area of fiction writing and business. The curriculum is divided into a number of categories to help you decide, but I will always answer questions if you are unsure. ————————— I’m Still Working On Marble Grant Novel Actually, making a little progress. And I am still working on getting back the responses to the last short story challenge that ended on December 1st. That is…

New Classic Workshop Now Available
There Are Now Ten of Them… That’s right, over the holiday I finally managed to get Writing Thrillers Classic Workshop up and on Teachable. Classic Workshops are workshops that used to be Regular Workshops at one point or another. The information is still good, but we moved them to classic to get them out of the monthly rotation. They cost $150 and there are six weeks of videos. And there are assignments, but you only do them for yourself. You do not turn them into me. Another difference from Regular Workshops is that you can go through the Classic Workshops at any point, all six weeks as fast or as…

Just Workshops All Day
Moving All Workshops Takes Time… I really had no idea how long it would take to move the workshops to Teachable. Wow. But got all of December workshops there now and started. So about 80% of this battle done. So much nicer there. I will be bringing up the January workshops there over the next week plus a Classic workshop to the list. Slow but sure at this point. ————– Short Story and Novel Challenge I am only taking five on each challenge starting on January 1st. So don’t miss on this one if you want a great challenge to start off your new year. Details are a few posts…

Last Day for Workshop Offer!
Almost Done… The offer is below the list of workshops. I wanted to post them here again tonight in no particular order except that the Depth should be first. Below that are the Classic Workshops available at the moment, then the special offer. I am amazed we have 19 Regular Workshops and 6 Strengths Workshops and 9 Classic Workshops, with more Classic coming on line over the next week or so. That built up far, far more than we had ever expected this to do. But Kris and I are very proud of these workshops and the help they give to writers who are driven to learn. LAST DAY!!!. A…

Got Story Five Done by 6 A.M.
It Seems Being Exhausted Helps… I got to the story this morning at 3:30 a.m. Far, far, too late. But… My Day Went Like This… Just trust me, there was no stopping except for one nap, cook dinner, and watch one hour of The Voice. The rest of the day was going from 2 p.m. until now, 6:30 a.m. And yes, I got my 10,000 steps. I sat down at 3:30 and looked at my half-title sheet and decided the first thing I looked at I would go with, so that was “Under Glass.” And I would do a Cold Poker Gang mystery, since I have those characters in my…

Workshop Offer Still Available
At least for four more days… I wanted to repeat this here to make sure everyone has a chance at this if you want workshops coming up. For exactly one week, until November 16th, you can get two regular workshops and two classic workshops for the price of $500. That is exactly the same as it was offered in the Pulphouse Kickstarter. A fun thing this year… If you would like, you can have us print up a nice-looking gift certificate and put it into a nice envelope, with someone’s name on the certificate, and send it to you to give as a gift for another writer for the holiday.…
