September Regular Workshops Starting
Yes, They Are Starting… It Really Is September… August seems to have vanished, we are past the time of great forgetting and time to fire back up on your writing. And workshops can help you get the focus back. But something special about these September regular workshops. After September, four of these workshops will no longer be regular workshops, but instead will be classic. That’s right, for almost half of these workshops it will be the last time you can take it with homework turned in. Research, Author Voice, Point of View, and Novel Structure are all going to Classic after this month. So if you want to take these workshop…

New Pop-Up
Pop-Up #13… As You Write… How to do World Building, Create Characters, and Outline As You Write. All kinds of fun stuff in this one, plus the story prompt is writing another story for Pulphouse Fiction Magazine if you want. Remember, these things go away quickly. The Flash Fiction will go away in one week, or at least the deadline for the story will. This one is already in the bundle for the 11-20 and the bundle for 11-15 Pop-Ups. And you can still get the bundles for the first ten if you want. All are in there. Best way by far to buy these Pop-Ups. I’m kind of liking…

Flat Amazing Workshop
Business Master Class in October 2019… I will talk more about it once everything is completely finalized, but wow I thought the last two years took indie business to a new level, this workshop in October will jump that up a long ways. The more we finalize all the details, the more excited I get. If interested, still room to jump in. Just write me. And follow this space for details. Lifetime Subscription to Lectures… This subscription is now the second best thing we offer. Over forty-some lectures up there and now we are adding in another twenty lectures on myths of writing and publishing. Five new ones are up…

Before Something Fun Tomorrow
I Wanted to Make Sure I Had Everything Announced… Not kidding, got a nifty new thing to announce tomorrow that I have mentioned a few times in passing. It is on myths. The lecture lifetime subscribers are going to be really happy. (grin) But first, I wanted to update a few other things. —– ASK KRIS ANYTHING still has spots open, but they will close off shortly. She was only going to do this for one year and she only has the six-month option left open on Teachable. So don’t miss getting a chance to sign up and ask Kris anything you like for a hour a month on a…

Two New Lectures and New Pop-Up
Having Fun Publishing Stories… Pop-Up #10 is all kinds of tricks for writers who have trouble either sending out short stories to magazines or getting short stories up indie. Fun solutions, actually. And it is in both the Pop-Up #6-10 bundle and also the Pop-Up #1-10 bundle. All other Pop-Ups are gone except for the free one, #9. You can only now get #1-#8 in the bundles. And this new one has a short story prompt with it, as normal. (Nope, won’t count for a Great Challenge short story. (grin) Come on, you can do two stories in a week.) The two lectures are the first quarter of 2019 Tips…

Holy Smokes… It Is July!
July Workshops Are Starting… I had no idea how it got to be suddenly July. Do we need to send out a search party for June? Wow, that Licensing Expo and all the learning just took June and flashed it past for me. So anyhow, working on reading challenge stories and getting out stretch rewards to the wonderful backers of Kris’s Diving Series. And because I didn’t realize it was July already, I almost forgot to do the assignments for the June workshops tonight and start the July ones. Almost no one signed up in the July workshops, so if interested, lots of room, just like this time every year.…

Got Sidetracked Tonight
Reading… Time just went flashing past. So this won’t be much of a post beyond what I need to do to meet my challenge streak of this daily blog since I am an hour beyond when I normally head to bed. Both novel and short story Great Challenges are still open. And the Licensing Learn Along will be open for one more week before I shut down sign-ups on it. All on Teachable. July Workshops will be starting in one week. The Writing Westerns will be there and I will be adding it to the Lifetime Subscriptions in a day or so. (It is the 7th new workshop added to…

Quick Saturday Post
Romance Study Along… The Romance Craft Workshop here in Las Vegas is September 20th through 24th and is taught by Kristine Kathryn Rusch, aka Kristine Grayson. It has been full for some time and everyone is reading the reading list Kris gave out. But the Romance Study Along on Teachable still has openings. And those signed up in that also have the same reading list. There is still time to jump into the Study Along and have time to read all the books on the reading list and take part in the Study Along. But not much more time. So check it out on Teachable.
