    Past Crimes

A Fantastic Storybundle… One week ago today a Storybundle at Storybundle.com/crime launched called Past Crimes. Now, I love crime stories, have published many over the decades, and I have a top-selling series of twisted mystery series with my Cold Poker Gang stories and novels, one of which is in this bundle. And I have had the luck of being able to curate a number of Storybundles. And I personally think this is the best one I have ever done, and also the best one I have been lucky enough to have a book in. And I sure don’t say that lightly. Being in the company of mystery writers like Lawrence…

THE PAST CRIMES BUNDLE (My Introduction)

It Came Together This Way The past often brings out the best in crime. In fact, for a vast majority of crime fiction (mystery), the crime has already happened in the past and solving what happened, or who did it, or why the crime happened is the fun of it all. I personally love past crimes of another category: cold cases. When the question of who done it or why in the normal crime stories doesn’t get answered in any satisfying way, the crime becomes a cold case. And the passing of time makes it harder and harder to solve that dormant case. Cold cases are my personal favorite past…

    THREE DAYS LEFT FOR STORYBUNDLE

Great Books and Reading in This Bundle! I curated a new Storybundle called VISIONS OF THE FUTURE. Some really, really fantastic science fiction from a lot of writers. Since I sort of buried this the first time under talking about a ton of steps I did, here is my initial blog once again about the Storybundle. I am very excited about this one. Great writers, great stories. But only three days left to grab this one. VISIONS OF THE FUTURE BLOG… I knew, without a doubt, I was going to really enjoy putting Visions of the Future together as a StoryBundle. I just love science fiction of all types, and any form…

    Working on a StoryBundle…

Visions of the Future… That is the title of a StoryBundle that will be out toward the end of this month. Pure science fiction. And I already have two anthologies in it, so can’t use any more anthologies or collections. I just need three more novels. And what I am looking for must have the following qualities. Science Fiction with element of the future in some way or another. Top-notch science fiction cover. First book or stand-alone book. The author must have a social media reach, since the idea behind bundles is to get ten different books and authors together and have everyone promote so that we all find new…

WWW.Storybundle.com/aliens Here is my original blog… One thing science fiction fans think about when you say “Aliens Among Us” is aliens like body snatchers, or Grays flitting around Area 51. None of that in this group of great novels…

    Searching for Art

Hours Spent… I finished my short story fairly early tonight, so was going to go get some sleep but then decided to check our account on Deposit Photos and discovered that I was going to lose my monthly number of art downloads if I didn’t use them in the next ten hours. Yikes. So for two hours tonight I downloaded art that I might use for February stories that I haven’t done covers for. Didn’t end up using all of the credits, but used a bunch of them. Eyes just ran out of gas (or something like that.) And don’t forget that the fantastic Cattitude Storybundle only has five days…
