Last Day!!
And We Are Close to Next Stretch Goal!
Just $900 away. If we hit that, all backers get another fun book of stories, plus another Pop-Up Workshop for writers.
So please help us pass the word.
Pulphouse Fiction Magazine Subscription Drive 2021.
We finish at 7pm this evening, WEST COAST TIME.
And the success of this subscription drive really gives Pulphouse Fiction Magazine a secure future for the next year. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am about that and relieved. The magazine has always been my baby, in both incarnations. So thank you, everyone, for the support.
Now, if we can just hit that last stretch goal so we have another book and another class for writers, that would be so cool. As I write this at 2 am, just 17 hours to go.

I’m delighted to hear that Pulphouse is secure for another year, and I hope you hit the $30k target because that will be great for writers to get another free pop-up.
The big draw of the pop-ups for me, beyond their subject matter, is to be able to do the short story assignment for each and get your feedback (good or bad!) as a professional and highly experienced editor. This has been invaluable to me over the years and I’d highly recommend it.

When I write this, there are still 12 hours to go, and we’re only $38 away from the $30K stretch goal.
Wow, wonderful. Thank you for all the awesome stretch goal rewards. I look forward to the two workshops as well, and all the pulphouse magazines.

$30,002 – congratulations!
If you want an idea for a pop-up for the next stretch goal (grin), then how about tags on covers?
Like the Alien movie tag “In space, no one can hear you scream.”

Congratulations on passing your last stretch goal!

I checked in this morning and saw you at $34,997, and while i was contemplating various add-ons, it hit $35,002 at around 7:30 Pacific Time, which was rather nice.
What really surprised me in the end was how close it got to $35,000 in the next 10 hours!
Congratulations, of course, although I get to celebrate too, because I have plenty of nice rewards coming my way! And all on top of the really wacky, amusing Pulphouse issues!

Nathan, not a clue what you are talking about. We ended up at 33,094, which is great. Which triggered the 30,000 stretch goal, but not the next one we had up for a short time.
Are you in Canada or Australia or something?

Nope, I’m in California! Still adjusting to a 12-hour flipped sleep schedule to cope with this heat wave (no air conditioning here), and sometimes towards the end of my “day” my brain gets a little squirrely! I remembered the boundary (under three, over two, someone pledged $5) but apparently had the $35,000 goal on my mind while I was writing.
Naturally, I was looking at the $29,997 pledge level and saw it hit $30,002 and was happy for all of us. But as I said, I was surprised how close, in the 10 remaining hours, it got to $35,000. That was pretty impressive.
