Clock Is Ticking… This ends on Thursday at 7 pm West Coast Time. RESCUE TWO Kickstarter Campaign Last night I talked about the really nifty special workshops available only in this campaign. Two Special Workshops
Only Available In the RESCUE TWO Kickstarter Campaign. These both fit in well with the space opera and science fiction nature of the Seeders books. And both are going to be great fun. RESCUE TWO KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN… ONLY THREE DAYS LEFT!!! — WRITING IDEA FICTION Special Workshop!! NOT OFFERED ANYWHERE ELSE BUT IN THIS CAMPAIGN. Idea fiction is an entire area of science fiction, and many writers believe that is all that makes up science fiction. They are wrong, but it is a large part of the genre. An important part to know how to do. Kris and I have put together this three-week class to help you understand what makes a…

Lifetime Subscriptions
Lifetime Pop-Up Subscription… We are going to add it, and the first time it is being offered is for half price as a reward in the RESCUE TWO Kickstarter Campaign. It will be up next weekend at full $3,000 price on Teachable. And shortly there will be 79 different pop-ups included in it. With more coming all the time. Also, a real amazing deal is the Lifetime Workshop Subscription. It is also a reward on the Kickstarter at half price for the four days the campaign has left. We also have Lifetime Subscriptions to the Study Along classes (included all the old ones already done) and lectures, but neither of…

Kickstarter News
Brandon Backed All Publishing Kickstarters Or at least all the viable ones. How cool is that? And he helped a number of them fund and watching the video is also great fun. He, or one of his people, backed the RESCUE TWO campaign as well. Thanks, Brandon! Over the years I have backed a lot of campaigns, but never as many as he did today. Number totaled over 300. Wow! And he said at the end that readers now will start thinking of Kickstarter as a way to find books. Basically we are all creating a new market to help readers find new books, new authors, and innovative publishing products.…

Playing With Marbles
Took A Couple Hours… And met with an antique dealer friend here in Vegas and sorted marbles. She has a shop that I have been buying marbles from and when I showed up today she started pulling out bags and boxes of unsorted marbles, so for two hours I helped her stock her display case and figure out which marbles were new and which were older and expensive. To a marble collector like me, that was heaven. I also bought a antique 30s or 40s leather marble bag with the word “marbles” on it and a cowboy on a horse. No idea what or when it came out, but way…

Reading a Lot of Great Stories
Study Along Workshop for Thriller/Humor I have been amazed at a number of things. First off, how many writers got stories in for this workshop. Writing thriller/humor short stories is a tough challenge and a lot of writers tried it. So that impressed me. Second thing that impressed me with the first assignment was how good they were overall. Some great mysteries and a bunch of writers actually hit thriller/humor short stories. Then with the story in 40 hours, a lot of writers made the deadline and again the stories were great. And the third story deadline of 24 hours had about three times as many stories as I expected,…

Internet Issues
So One of These Blogs… Writing this to load with the hot spot on my phone. Seems Tuesday night around midnight is a good time for the cable people to do work. Annoying. My eye is just about done with screen time for the day. Read a large number of great stories for the Thriller/Humor workshop, and did a lot of regular assignments for workshops and a ton of other stuff. So busy, but just about done. My eye is getting tired. So remember the Kickstarter has hit four stretch goals, which means three free Pop-Up classes on world building in science fiction. And more to come. And two really…

Really Fun Ad for Seeders
At Least I Think It is Fun… Done by the fantastic Gwyneth Gibby at WMG Publishing, a slightly shorter version was up on Facebook and it just made me feel good. Sort of how I feel when I am writing the Seeders books. So thought I would show all of you. Very short. And the campaign is doing great. We hope you all keep passing the word because we made it past the fourth stretch goal, which means everyone gets four extra books and three of the Pop-Up World Building classes for science fiction worth $450. So if you are a backer, help us pass the word and get even…

Copyright
Basic Nuts and Bolts Copyright For Writers Just posted the copyright class as a stand-alone class as well as part of the Master Business Class, which now has 15 different classes as part of it, and more to come. Very straight forward, here is what you need to know. Going to be getting into licensing soon in the master business class, so Kris and I wanted to make sure everyone had the copyright foundation since most writers just never get around to it. Also in the master business class going to be posting information in the next week or so about the Licensing Expo and what we are doing there…
