We Just Finished the First New One… At Resorts World on the Strip in Vegas. Wow, was that something special. The hotel was about as perfect as it could get for a small workshop. Rooms were great and quiet, and the meeting room was perfect. Food was good, with a ton of options for everyone. And I do mean a ton. More restaurants in Resorts World and across the street than all of downtown Vegas. So Resorts World is our new home. Cheaper, very quiet, and super nice. But we have an issue. RESORTS WORLD in Las Vegas… Yes, for future in-person workshops, we have moved to Resorts World. This is three major hotels in one place with a massive convention area. Brand new, with a ton restaurants on site, plus a ton of others close by. Room rates through our workshop codes is $75 a night plus resort fees. THAT IS CHEAPER than the Golden Nugget was three years ago. And the rooms are all brand new and it is quiet!! All Set Up… And Getting Sign-Ups… So I figured I would mention a few things. First off, here in Vegas the Covid statistics are very low, in the moderate range and are dropping steadily. No masks required anywhere. In the entire state there are just over a hundred people in the hospital, all of them not vaccinated and most of them older and up north where the non-vax folks live. All of them have other conditions as well. But even so, we are still going to require for all of 2023 workshops that everyone attending an in-person workshop must have proof of vaccination and boosters. No exceptions. Do not make…

Announcing New Advanced In-Person Craft Workshops
Workshops Are Here In Las Vegas… All these workshops are advanced craft focused. You will be doing a lot of writing while here. And each workshop, similar to this year, will be two-genre focused. And each will have a Study-Along class going on at the same time online on Teachable. And each will be followed by a novella challenge class to do a novella in two weeks on the workshop topic. In Person Craft Classes in Vegas Return in 2022!!! That’s right, the limited craft in-person classes are back in 2022. We announced this last summer, but now, since the reading list is about to go out on the first class in March, Kris and I figured it was time to really go over these again. There will be six classes, all limited to 15 people each here at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. For this new series, we have taken the overall topics of Caper, Spies, and Humor and smashed them into six different genres.
