Help Coming if You Take It…

This year will be a brutal Time of Great Forgetting for most authors. The cause of these months just vanishing from your writing is distractions. Lots and lots of them.

Good weather, family events, graduations, gardening, sports, you name it. Massive distractions away from a great schedule you have been maintaining all winter so far with the writing.

And also at the moment we have the head-shaking distraction of the craziness coming out of the US government. You combine that with a desire to cover your head or just run into the garden and it makes this coming few months maybe the worst Time of Great Forgetting since the pandemic. Maybe worse.

What can you do to stay focused on a writing production and publishing production? Set up deadlines and distractions in the writing is one major way.

So one thing we are ging to do to help some for the next few months is we are bringing back the Collection Classes. In 9 weeks you write five stories on a topic, one per week, and I help you put the collection together, covers and all, so you have a published collection in just two months.

I will have these available in a few days.

We are also doing THE KRIS AND DEAN SHOW DOES OCEAN’S 11. (not the Frank and Dean one) This is a caper movie and will be stunningly good for learning information flow and characters.

Folks, if you don’t take this coming massive distraction from your writing seriously, you will wake up in July or August and wonder what happened. I watch it every year derail writers.

I am also offering to write you into a Poker Boy story for a new anthology. You can be a superhero or a god. Of any area you pick. That’s going to be fun and even if I don’t get anyone or only a few, I’m going to fill out the ten stories in a really fun way. So the collection will happen.
