The Passive Guy Comes To The Master Business Class
Great Fun and Great Learning… That’s right, the Passive Guy of ThePassiveVoice.com will be one of main instructors this year at the Publishing Master Business Workshop. For those who don’t know his real name, it is David P. Vandagriff. He is a national IP lawyer, knows more about copyright than even I do, is fantastic at publishing contracts, and is a super nice guy. His wife, a major bestselling romance writer in both traditional and indie will be coming along and being in the class. Mark Leslie (Lefebvre), Kristine Kathryn Rusch, and I will be the three main folks running the show. Mark and I and Kris will be there…

All July Workshops Started
July Regular Workshops… This might be out best list for a month of workshops we have ever done with the addition of the Magic Bakery workshop and Information Flow. I am very, very pleased these workshops have come this far. And are still moving forward. You can find the workshops under Online Workshops to the right of this post. Sign up for July on Teachable.com. For credits or workshops beyond July, write me. Each regular workshop is 6 weeks long. Again, it will take you about three hours per week on your own pace to do each of these if you do the assignments. All workshops have now started, but still…

Something Special For Lifetime Workshop Subscribers… After some discussion at WMG Publishing, we have decided to occasionally offer something special to the Online Workshop Lifetime Subscribers. That Was Very Interesting…
THANK YOU!… Everyone, for the feedback, both in the comments and in letters. Both Kris and I were surprised, to be honest. The desire for a depth-like workshop talking about information flow was across the board. And even the Magic Bakery had a lot of people wanting to take it. Plus we got a bunch of other ideas for workshops. Some were on our lists like a Romance online workshop (very different from the intense craft Romance workshop Kris will do in Vegas next year). But one idea hadn’t occurred to us and that was a workshop about how to use tags. Tags are one of the most powerful tools…

Two Possible New Workshops
Scheduling and Trying to Decide… Working on the next four months of regular workshop schedules and I have sort of settled on two new workshops I would love to put together with Kris. So feedback is welcome. And yes, lifetime subscribers you will get any new workshop we do automatically. So first off, I like the idea of doing a Magic Bakery Workshop. Six weeks covering all kinds of details about how writers make a living and run a business with the focus on copyright and IP valuation. Now we did two advanced lectures on those two topics, but this would be so, so much more detailed and into the…

Last Day
Special Time of Great Forgetting Offer Extended… Today is the last day… The reason for this short extension is that I got busy and forgot to warn everyone the offer was ending when it ended this weekend. You can keep them as credits until you use them, be we hope you use a few of them in the next few months to fight back the Time of Great Forgetting. You will be happy you did when you hit…
