Two New Workshops Are Toast…

Killing the Two New Regular Workshops…

Not one person signed up for either one, so clearly not much interest and wrong time of the year. No one even mentioned them. We have learned that is a bad sign. (grin)

So BRUSHSTROKE CHARACTERS and FAKING IT regular workshops are not going to happen. At least not at the moment.

I liked the idea of both of them, so maybe they will come back at a later time. We shall see.

But still have the new class ADVANCED GENRE starting up and that is going to be a blast, and difficult, and a learning process all at the same time. (And for another day or so it is half priced.  See two posts back about the last day of the sale on Advanced Craft classes and Lifetime Everything Subscription. Sale ends late Monday night.)

HEAT WAVE STORIES should be all in. It will take me most of September to first read some stories from workshops, then read the Heat Wave submissions to Pulphouse. The September guidelines are out over Teachable for those who were backers of the campaign.  I am really looking forward to the reading. This will be fun.

And now without having to record those two workshops every week, I have even more time to fire back up the writing. Bummer the workshops didn’t get off the ground, but okay for me. (grin)

I’m a bit sad that those are not happening. They would have been great and I hope they will return in the future as they mesh up well with the Character Focus bundle.

WHAT?? Oh no!!! I was so excited to take them thru my Lifetime Subscription. But yeah… I didn’t ever let you know. I’m sorry to see them go. I hope they get resurrected. I thought both sounded so cool but Faking It really had me curious.

I’m sad to hear the workshops didn’t have interest. I have the lifetime workshop subscripion and couldn’t sign up for the first time, is there a way in the future I could show interest, is an excited comment enough? I’m one person and not enough for a whole workshop, but I feel bad to no one signed up when they sound useful to writers.

Oh, no! I was looking forward to taking those through the Lifetime Subscription. Probably should’ve let you know. I usually just do them at my own pace and don’t hand in the assignments. Hope you bring them back at some point.

We will and from this point forward if a new class we will have lifetimers write and ask for the codes so we know how much interest there is. Like we do with Kris’s challenges. These two workshops, until I cancelled them, showed almost zero interest at all. Two people.

I actually was interested in both workshops. If I’m the only one then I completely understand hold off for a later date. I rarely comment but I read you posts and find them both informative and inspirational.. Maybe I should comment more.

Anyhow, whenever you plan to do them, I’d definately be interested.
