The Voice Started

A Great Writer Show…

I have said this for years, and I will say it again. You want to learn about what it takes to be a fiction writer, a long-term professional fiction writer, watch The Voice.

It will not only have some great artist advice, but you will understand the amount of drive and sacrifice you have to give to make it in an international art. Listen to the stories, listen as the season goes on what it is taking for the artists to be there. Ask yourself if you could give up that much, push that hard, take the risks.

There is also great music and fun humor.

Started tonight, I had a chance to watch the first half of tonight is all. Already some good stuff.

Being in the UK ours season has been running for a little while. But this is the first year I’ve stared watching it.

But saying that it was interesting to hear what the judges said about the 2 people they didn’t pick.
    1) Nervous — Sir Tom Jones said he still got nervous but he put that nervousness into giving him energy–a bit like swapping out fears.
    2) Non-Distinct – I mean to look at the fellow he had a quirky style but his song choice was, umm, bland.
