Quick Workshop Update and Story #22
Story Challenge Still Going…
First I want to update a few things on workshops.
We have one Lifetime Subscription to All In-Person Workshops left available, then we are going to close it down again. Last time that was open was 2017. And there is only one left now. Cost is $3,000 and write me if interested.
We have one mentorship open with me. It lasts for as long as you want it to last and I am here to answer question and be your supporter and cheerleader. I ask that you report to me regularly on how things are going and I will help with covers and sales copy and business advice, but I will not read stories or works in progress. But when you get stuck on writing in general and business, that I can help on.
Kris has no spots left open in her six month mentorships and she is uncertain she will do it again except to work with some who are extending their mentorships now.
We have on Teachable put up the new The Kris and Dean Show Does Back to the Future. $50 until it launches on February 13th. Then the price goes to $75 which is the price of The Kris and Dean Show Does Die Hard.
Kris is reading the fantasy novellas from that class and will follow with the mystery novellas. Remember those three novella classes (Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Mystery) are open to take at any time, work through the assignments with me and then write a novella for Kris. They are on the www.wmgwriterstore.com
And if interested in the Lifetime Everything Subscription for Teachable, for a short time we are selling that at half price. Write me if interested. About 400 plus writing workshops, classes, lectures, pop-ups, and focused classes.
STORY #22
Turned out to be a very twisted Bryant Street story called “Ghost Maker.”
I ended up spell-checking a few more of the finished stories to have them ready to go to Kris in the afternoon. I am giving her one per day and she has read five of them. I hope tomorrow to start doing covers for those. Did a webinar and then tried to nap without luck before cooking dinner. Only five hours of sleep, so very groggy.
Cooked dinner and after that fell sound asleep on the couch for a number of hours. Managed after watching some television with Kris to stagger back up here around 11:30 and got a Kicksterter in for approval. Managed to start a story by 1 m. Luckily Bryant Street stories tend to run short.
The Kickstarter will be in February, and no link yet, but here is the campaign header just for fun. Marble Grant. Very bright and a ton of fun.
