Smith’s Monthly #57 and 3 Raw Stories…

Got those on Patreon. If you want to really see what Smith’s Monthly looks like, read the pdf version. You get to see it completely. And the last five pages with all the covers of all 57 issues is pretty stunning.  But for those of you at the $5 level on Patreon and above, I put up both the Bookfunnel link and the pdf of Smith’s #57, the January issue.

Also put up three more raw short stories from the challenge. What is slowing me down is the covers, of course. I did those three in an hour, but I got to find some hours. (grin) I wrote my 30th short story in the challenge tonight. One more, than get an introduction done and all the covers done and a blog or two and I can put them in the SHORT STORIES FROM JANUARY book, the first in the series.

Motivational Monday four videos are posted right on time as well. People seem to really be liking them and I’m having fun doing them. I think this is week #7 of them, so 28 videos. Wow, by the end of the year, this is going to be a lot of videos. Fun.

And remember the February workshops start Tuesday and Wednesday, including the Building to Pulp Speed new one. That one sort of goes with Making a Living with Novels. Same kind of hard advice.

I’m enjoying the heck out of Motivational Mondays. I like the real time glimpse into your mindset week to week, and it’s been an eye-opening relief to hear that even you have to fight yourself from time to time to keep going. I guess it’s just the nature of the beast.

I just decided to join the February Pulp Speed Workshop and sent you an email. I lost almost all my momentum over the holidays, and I’m hoping this workshop will help me kick it into high gear.

    Great job on the challenge!

The last two weeks I’ve written a story on Sunday for the Great Challenge and a Story on Monday for the Short Story workshop, and it’s been fun, but I still can’t imagine finding the time to do a story a day for a month and still doing everything else I need to do, including a novel!

Maybe Pulp Speed will get me past that!

Thanks, Joe. I’m having fun with the Motivational Monday. Pulp Speed class is going to be an eye-opener in some places.
