Patreon, Master Class, and More

A Bunch of Stuff…

First off, for those of you who are supporting my Patreon page https://www.patreon.com/deanwesleysmith, I have attempted to put up in raw form the first two stories from the challenge with covers. No clue if it worked and if only the correct tiers can see the posts.

I will be putting up some Smith’s Monthly issues shortly for all supporters. But tonight trying to learn the ropes on this. If some of you who are familiar with Patreon would let me know how I did, that would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Master Business Class

Finally it has all 13 of the first basic foundation classes up. That is a ton of videos. And I do mean a ton, which will take some time to go through. Starting around the 1st of February, Kris and I will be loading to the master business class some advanced writing and publishing and licensing classes. But you need all the basics under you first. If this class was being held in person as we used to do, this would be the end of the first two days, with the advanced stuff coming in the last two days.

And yes, you can still jump into the Business Master Class. All the stuff is there and there are no assignments to miss. Well over $2,000 in workshops already and we are only half done. (Business Master Class has never been and will never be offered on a sale, if we have another sale.) You can get all of the Master Business Classes one at a time, but that doesn’t seem like a good plan.

Challenge Update:

Still going fine, getting ready to add in some pages on a novel every day. That could get interesting, to say the least.

Now that I have my story done for the night, got to get back to laying out an issue of Smith’s Monthly. Deadline on that.

CRIMES COLLIDE KICKSTARTER

The campaign is only a hundred dollars from making the next stretch goal as I write this.

And only four more days to go. Don’t miss this one. Colliding Worlds Kickstarter

Well I am in the raw stories tier and I got the two you posted with no issues. Thanks for that.

Your Patreon levels all look good to me, Dean. I’ve got no way of checking whether what you’re sending out is getting to correct tiers, but as long as you’re checking “$10 and up” etc, on posts, it should be fine.

I’m not sure I could write short stories and also write a novel a bit each day, at the same time. Once I get going on a story, I don’t want to stop for something else. I want to do that one story until it’s done. Then, I can look at other things. How do you approach that goal?
