As I Write This…

The Return of Boss Kickstarter campaign ends at 8 pm West Coast Time tonight (Thursday) and looks like we are going to go past the 6th stretch goal.

So writers, you get four Pop-Ups as stretch goals, worth $600 total. We already have two of them recorded and will be finishing up the last two and have them all up before the survey goes out in a week or so. Also a lot of great reading as well as stretch rewards, plus everyone who backs this gets the new Diving novel Thieves as well. So make sure you don’t miss it.

This turned out really well considering the pandemic is still raging here in the States and shows no sign of letting up.

I didn’t do that much today. But I did manage to get my marble collection (basically only one of two collections I have kept) unpacked in the new office. And Kris, with Lisa’s help, got the internet hooked up into the new office as well. Slowly taking shape. I’ve been trying to unload at least five boxes a day as a pace with all the books, digests, marbles, and filing. So far, so good. I’ll post pictures when it gets to the next stage. Some of you will be having in-person workshops in that new office, if we can ever get this pandemic under control.

But got to admit, the new office is very, very comfortable.

115 degrees down here, setting records every day, plus a ton of smoke from the California fires. So not really leaving the building between the heat and the Covid. Luckily the new office is about a quarter of a mile walk from our condo to the new office, completely inside the building. (This is a really big complex. We are on the top floor on one side, the office is on the ground floor in the opposite corner.)
