Half Way On My Challenge…

Six Months To My 76th Birthday…

And yes, I am counting because I am trying to do this totally insane challenge of publishing 75 major books in my 75th year on the planet.

So at 6 months, I have learned a ton, with two major learning curves yet to fight.

As I said in a previous post, I have most of my short fiction organized (after years and years of bad systems and just not doing it.)

I have put together 25 collections, with TOC and covers. No repeats of any story. I have about 20 more collections to do before I finish up the stories I want to reprint.

Outside of the collections, I have five Detectives Collide, eight non-fiction redo and updates, and two other collections, one non-fiction, one fiction, already out. 15 books total.

That totals 60, 40 of which at this point are either together or close to being published or published.

20 more collections need to be put together and done.

I have 13 Cold Poker Gang books that have HORRID covers and need to be totally redone, from covers to layout and everything. So that totals 73 if I can power on those after the last 20 collections. I have a bundle to put together for a fall Storybundle of bundles and one Mary Jo collection to get to 75.

Got a hunch there might be a few extra along the way, such as Smith’s Monthly issues.

The eight non-fiction books will be out over this next month to Kickstarter backers and late this summer for sale.

And right now, on a Kickstarter that will last until Thursday, you can get ten plus one stretch goal of the ten story collections.

I will announce when I will start putting some of these books on my Patreon account as well for folks to read.

6 months from today for me to get it all put together and published in some fashion or another.
