A Very Diverse Sunday
I Did Just About Everything Today…
One of those days that I worked on just about everything.
Started off the day with a writer’s meeting at WMG. Fun discussions. Then Kris and I went for a walk to get some milage in (I didn’t hit five, but got to four miles again).
Then I stayed at WMG to work on workshop recordings and the new lecture series stuff coming.
Then home to take a nap and cook dinner. After that I managed all my e-mail and workshop assignments before heading to my writing computer.
I got two sessions on the novel of just at 1,900 words.
Then back to this computer to write the stuff about the lectures. Then I read stories for the challenge. Writers in the challenge starting in May are doing great.
Speaking of challenge, still room for a few more crazy folks in the novel challenge starting the first of June. The rules are back on https://deanwesleysmith.com/a-novel-challenge/

MAJOR WRITING BUNDLE
Just THREE days left. Don’t miss this one. Very, very inexpensive education.
Amazing stuff for only $15 or $20 bucks. And AbleGamers is the charity on this bundle, which is one of the best causes I have ever seen.
Authors in this are Mary Buckham, Tonya D. Price, Kristine Kathryn Rusch, Lawrence Block, me, Maggie McVay Lynch, Leah Cutter, Chuck Heintzelman, and Joanna Penn. Plus a $50 lecture from WMG, a discount to get Jutoh, and a discount to all the stuff at a Writer’s Cafe.
You can get it all for $15.00 or $20.00 and give some to AbleGamers. If you are serious about learning your craft and business of writing, this is about as cheap as it comes, folks.

On the latest Austin City Limits, is Robert Plant.
Watch the interview at the end. He points out that the casual listener tunes in now and then, but the “band” has to be involved and entertained each time.
This comes down to your comments about writing for yourself, not trying to please someone else.
