I’m Going Old School…
I have too many learning curves to get under control already, so in planning the next 7 months of this challenge, I am going old-school, with a dry-erase schedule on my wall with goal dates to have books done.
And I do have a spread sheet for a lot of my stories, so using it to put 10-story collections together with one of the stories as the title story.
Right now I have 12 collections together (120 stories) plus I also put together one of the collections I still need to do for the Mary Jo Assassin Kickstarter. That cover is done, and six of the others are done, but I will wait until I get to 16 collections together to do the other 10 covers. That will put me at 32 books of the 75 I am shooting for.
And my best estimate is I still have 35 collections left to get all the stories at least. So if that estimate is correct, I will need to pick up about eight more books. I think I can do that.
Some Smith’s Monthly issues might help some. (grin).
And yes, I am having fun. Seeing stories that I wrote that I have no memory of and many, many, many that have never seen the light of day. Finally, I am giving my short fiction the time and energy I think it deserves after all these decades.
