Only One Day Until The Challenge Starts
Follow Along Living at Pulp Speed Five.
Still two spots left. This is limited to ten. Follow along with a letter from me every night for 100 days on my crazy challenge of writing ten novels in 100 days, plus I will write a book about it at the same time here on the blog.
The basic details…
— Cost $500.
— Limited to first 10 paid.
— A letter every day from me for 100 days about the process of writing novels starting September 9th. (even on my bad days.)
— Questions about the process when you want.
— Early read on every book I write.
— Anything you start and finish writing inside the hundred days, you can send to me to read after the challenge is over.
To pay, just send the fee to Paypal at dean@deanwesleysmith.com which is the WMG account and then write me that you have done so. I will announce here when I get ten and this closes. I would have killed for something like this as an early writer, so don’t miss this one. I will not be doing this again.

The Tags workshop seems like it’s going to be really interesting. I sent in the homework earlier today, but spent the rest of the day adding to it and thinking more about tags in ordinary life.

One group of people who know how to spot tags are cartoonists, especially political ones. Obama with his big ears, Trump with his orange hair. Tags. When the satirists and cartoonists portray them, they play those tags up so everyone knows exactly who they are talking about. Tags are everywhere and when a writer knows how to use them correctly, the writing gets easier and more powerful. An advanced skill, sure, but something that can be taught.

ahh! Is that what you’re talking about? I’ve been wondering what on earth you mean by tags in this context, because as far as I knew they were the # you put on posts to make them searchable. That clarifies things a lot.

Maree, take a look at my author photo on the “About the Author” page. Tell me what tags you see? (grin)
Maree
Ha! The styling in that picture totally reminds me of Terry Pratchett. I don’t know what tags it has though. It just mostly says to me something along the lines of ‘Man in creative career can dress however he feels like, also he likes hats.’
