New Year and the Holiday…
Wrapped Up In The New Year…
As we bump into December of this year, I am really focused on ramping up my writing for the new year. Just doing all kinds of plans and ideas and possible challenges that will really get me going. Plus making some changes in my office and possible schedule.
Enjoying the process a lot, actually. Not at all stressed on it or time pressured. I think that might be because I have two really good ideas, both would be challenging and fun and actually crazy to even attempt. So now just trying to think of other things along those same lines. You know, like trying to set up. buffet of ideas. Never too many in my opinion.
And Kris and I today are recording part of the Kris and Dean Show and that is focused on Prepping for 2025 as well. So got a hunch as we record that and I do the videos for the first week, I will get even more ideas.
I really, really do love the excitement of a brand new year coming.
As I am sure I used to say to my parents regularly on a road trip… “Are we there yet?”
GIVE THE GIFT…
I actually forgot we were doing this. We are calling it “Give the Gift of Learning.”
It is stunningly simple. If you buy any workshop or class or subscription on WMG Teachable, we will give a second one of your choice at an equal or lesser value to anyone you pick. And we will deliver it to them at the time of your choosing, including Christmas Day, with a note from you and directions on how to get the class or workshop and a code to get in.
Note: This includes all Lifetime Subscriptions, including Lifetime Everything Subscription. It includes EVERYTHING on WMG Teachable.
If you are a Lifetime Everything Subscription, you can buy a workshop or class and we will send out two gifts from you to writers you pick.
HERE IS HOW IT WORKS…
Simply go to WMG Teachable and buy any class or workshop or lecture or Pop-Up you would like to take yourself and then you can give one of equal or lesser value to a friend.
We will contact you the next day to ask who you would like The Gift of Learning to go to and which class, when you would like it delivered, and what would you like to say on a gift note. (And yes, you can take the second class yourself, making this a simple two-for-one sale. (grin)
How is that for easy holiday shopping?
And it starts right now. Questions, write me directly before I forget this again.
Holiday Season
A long time ago, in a land far, far away (too long and too far for me to remember exactly when or where), Kris and I decided to not give each other gifts on the holidays. We decided we would celebrate by doing other fun things. For example, each year we take in a lot of holiday decorations, including the fantastic stuff at the Bellagio.
We do get a tree (actually we have one in storage we dig out every year) and we decorate that and bring out the holiday mugs and other festive fun around the house, including cool Holiday Spectacular pillows and blanket. And we do as much as we can each year for charities.
And we start off the season with the Glittering Lights Run and so much more.
So we really enjoy celebrating without all the grind of presents. And that makes for a great holiday season.
And, oh yeah, there’s the Santa Run. That is coming up real soon. Picture from last year.
