I love these new Fey novels with the steampunk and fantasy and magic. And, of course, the Fey. Serebro Academy: A New Fey Novel is amazingly good. Check it out.

Do you guys really do a good*every* launch of a new book?
With you doing 50-some books this year, Dean, that can’t be logistically possible can it?
And don’t so many Kickstarters begin to detract from each other? Or do they build on each other?

Kickstarter in January had five books in it with my name on them. March Kickstarter had four, June Kickstarter had five. Pulphouse Kickstarter had 12 books (issues) that I edit. That’s 26 books out so far.
So your thinking is flawed in that you think every book or project stands alone. And the days of launching a book left with the 1990s. Kickstarters, Shopify stores, preorders, and so on all get a book to an audience. And unlike the traditional thinking days, books don’t spoil. They are new to a reader when the reader sees it.
So kill the launch thinking and join 2024. It’s a wonderful new world.
