Half Way…
The Year Will Be Half Over on Saturday…
Seems impossible, but yet it is. I got back to writing completely on April 1st after vision issues had stopped me and I learned this month that my vision now is what it will be going forward. As the doc said, “Your eyes look like a war zone.”
So now, after three months of ramping up, learning how to write with the new vision, I feel like I am back to full writing speed again this week for the first time since last November. That bodes well for the second half of the year.
I will be posting the July workshops tomorrow. And maybe sending out the first half of the Fantasy Collides Pop-Up stretch goals. Too many to send at once, so going to do them in groups of four a few days apart.
The new nine-week “Product for Indie Writers” class will start this month as well. It will have regular workshop stuff, plus some webinars for brainstorming and other fun things to do with focusing on helping our sales and business with adding product. (webinars will be recorded so you can catch them later.)
So a bunch of stuff coming starting in July, including four new collection classes and a new advanced craft class along with a second one. Those are difficult and I am finding them great fun, to be honest. Collection classes and craft classes are there now. Regular workshops will be up in a day or so.
Stay tuned. Lots of learning coming for the center of the year.

I’m sorry your eyes look like a war zone, but glad you at least have a new baseline to work from.

That’s not the best news for you and I’m sure you were hoping it would be better. I hope the new baseline stays at a workable level for you going forward.

You truly rock, Dean! You eke out the most of your available resources, being more efficient than the vast majority of other writers. I can’t tell you how admirable that is.
