Fun Day…
Great News Is Always Fun…
Especially after all the problems these last two years. When things have been bumpy, you really enjoy the good stuff when it happens.
So after Kris got done with her webinar this afternoon, and we got the cleaners out of our condo, we headed off to Crossroads Restaurant in Resorts World to celebrate the good news, just the two of us. Fine dining with cloth tablecloths and more service than should be allowed.
Stunningly wonderful-tasting food. Just perfect.
And nope, good news stays with us and close friends. Sorry. Just trust me, it was stunning news and worth a great meal. (grin)
And then we headed home to watch the last half of the Aces’ basketball game. (Yes, we have season tickets but neither one of us felt up to to going to what we knew would be a real war. And it was.)
Aces blew a good lead to an amazing Indiana Fever team to send it into overtime. I think there might be one player from the original team that started the season that is not injured. And yet with more heart than I have seen and stunning coaching, they took the Aces, the best basketball team in the league, down to overtime in the last game of the series before the Aces finally won it.
They get all those players healthy next year, the Fever will be a team to deal with.
Great night all the way around.
The FALL INDIE WRITING FESTIVAL is slowly filling. Still early-bird discount. See last nights blog for details.
