Kickstarter Friday
Some Fiction Campaigns That Are Worth Studying and Backing… I do this every Friday when I have a few campaigns I think are worth putting here. Tonight three campaigns. I will not say much negative about a campaign. If there is too much or it is going to fail, I won’t post it here. And for those wondering where I get off judging Kickstarter Campaigns by fiction writers, I have now done 59 of them, every one funded and made money. My first campaign was in the very early days of Kickstarter. But if yoyu are going to study campaigns that I have done, study the last year or so.…

Kickstarters…
We Did 12 in 12 Months… That was a little much, to say the least, and we got behind, but as of now, except for some paper and hardbacks still fighting their way to escape from Ingrams, we have fulfilled pretty much everything. Since Kris and I are doing everything these days for our own writing, we realized that Kickstarters could be a really fun thing at times. Sure, we will still use them as a start of promotion of a new book or series of books. But we got laughing the other day about how much fun it would be to do a five day one, very focused, all…

Do a Kickstarter At Any Point…
How Many Books Do I Need?… … Before I can think about doing a Kickstarter? I have gotten that question a bunch lately. For a while, I thought you needed a maybe ten or so books, but then a friend reminded me of a writer I saw do a Kickstarter with their first collection. First book ever, actually. And another writer wrote me and said they had done a Kickstarter with their very first book, a stand-alone novella. Both did great, built some readers, did more campaigns as they finished new books, and kept building readers and fans so that by the time they both reached that magical discoverability level…

Kickstarter Friday
Some Fiction Campaigns That Are Worth Studying and Backing… I do this every Friday, yes even tonight, Halloween, when I have a few campaigns I think are worth putting here. Three really great ones tonight. I will not say much negative about a campaign. If there is too much or it is going to fail, I won’t post it here. And for those wondering where I get off judging Kickstarter Campaigns by fiction writers, I have now done 56 of them, every one funded and made money. My first campaign was in the very early days of Kickstarter. But if yoyu are going to study campaigns that I have done,…

And for those wondering where I get off judging Kickstarter Campaigns by fiction writers, I have now done 56 of them, every one funded and made money. My first campaign was in…

Mentorships and Fall Writing Festival Starting
All Kinds of Great Learning… KICKSTARTER MENTORSHIP… That’s right, one-on-one, I will help you build and launch a book kickstarter in the next three or four months that will fund, and get you readers for your books, then I will continue to help you with how to fulfill the campaign. You can start any time you want with this. Even into next year, but need to sign up now. I will cut this off after a few. And then in the following six months after the first one is done, I will help you with a second campaign. You will have two successful campaigns from this and have the confidence…
