FOUR MYSTERIES KICKSTARTER IS LIVE

This is a great campaign. Four Mysteries by Kris. Three brand new and one published last year in the Holiday Spectacular that won the Derringer Award. Otherwise it has not seen print either.

Check it out here.

The four mystery books go with every reward. And we got some great rewards.

— Signed editions of the old St. Martin’s Press hardbacks of Kris Nelscott. Only DAYS OF RAGE and THIN WALLS and five signed copies each. And a signed rare book Kris wrote as Kathryn Dexter called THE PERFECT MAN. Again only five signed available.

— Two really fun special workshops, doing something we have never done before. One special workshop you get 50 Murder Mystery prompts and the second one you get 50 Crime Prompts (without murder). We will show you how to use the prompts, how to make the prompts into your own great stories. Fun two classes.

— Some fun Rusch Crime merchandise, some other workshops, including the DESIGN FOR INDIE WRITERS class Stephanie Writt is teaching on covers.

— And, of course, all three states of Crimes Collide.

— Plus all three states plus a limited signed edition of the four mystery books.

And again, no matter which reward you take, you get the four mystery novellas by Kris.

So check it out right here.

WE ARE LIVE!!  (And yes, we already got the Kickstarter designation of a “Project We Love.”)

    Hi Dean,

I would love to see you pull forward any inspirational posts/motivational posts for helping writers. I am 36 years old with 3 failed novels and would love a pick me up.

    Thanks!

J, you mean novels you quit on because your critical voice caused you to stop, or novels you published and they didn’t sell. Two very different problems.

No matter which one, you can’t do the same thing you did on the first three expecting different results. You have to start learning and writing more and learning and writing more.

If it is critical voice, more than likely the novels are pretty good early books and you should just write more.

If you rewrote them to death, toss them in a file and write something new without rewriting it, one draft and publish it.
