Both workshops are three-weeks long, are offered only twice, and the final weeks’ assignment for both workshops will be to write a short story that I will consider for Pulphouse (Not as submissions, just how I will look at the stories. FINDING AND BELIEVING IN YOUR WRITING VOICE Special Workshop
Pulphouse stories have voice. Both character voice and author voice, and sometimes that is hard to tell apart. For writers, learning how to write with their own voice is a critical skill, much harder than it would seem from the outside. This three-week special workshop will help any writer become more certain about their own voice and how to use it.
This is a craft of writing workshop. You have your choice of taking either three-week workshop starting August 2nd or starting September 6th.

THINGS GET WORSE Special Workshop
Pulphouse stories never seem to go exactly where a reader might expect, even though logical. No two stories in Pulphouse are ever the same. Why? Sameness is boring and never sells. And to make a story really interesting, things must get worse for the character.
For writers, knowing when to take a story on a track all its own is critical. And how to keep the reader solidly in the story, even when you are making it hard for your character. This three-week special workshop will help any writer become more comfortable about being original, or at least different, and keeping it really hard on the character while gripping to the reader.

At this moment the campaign has hit four stretch rewards, giving all backers at any level four more books, plus two Pop-Up Writing Classes. In three days, if we can get the word out, we might be able to hit two or three more stretch rewards, since I have cut the distance between the stretch rewards in half. (I really want to have an excuse to do at least five Pop-Up classes.
