Sports Weekend

Actually A Long Weekend..

Started off Thursday evening with an Aces’s game against the #1 Lynx. Aces are #2 and we’re on a 12 game winning streak. Kris and I have season tickets and after a horrid start to this year, this team is wonderful to watch. A’ja Wilson really is the best player in the league.

The Aces won over the Lynx and it was a great game. Both teams played like they were in the championship, which more than likely both will be.

Then Saturday the UNLV Rebels took on UCLA in football and they won. I don’t go in person to those games, but Allegent was packed. UNLV goes to 3-0 on the season. Then here come the Raiders this morning, in New England, and with a totally new team, coach, and quarterback, they won easily. Well this year will be interesting.

Then tonight another Aces game against a very damaged team from Chicago. We won easily. Win streak now at 14 games in a row.

So that’s what I did this weekend…

Geno Smith is a very underrated quarterback. I got a feeling he’ll be a good fit in Vegas. (Geez, I almost typed Oakland.) And look, the Giants released Daniel Jones this summer after they villified him. He played like Eli Manning for the Colts yesterday behind a decent offensive line, which was the Giants problem all along because Russell Wilson was running for his life yesterday. And how did a general manager and head coach not see that?? Anyway, last night’s Ravens/Bills game was one of the best football games I’ve seen in a couple of years. WOW!
