Special Workshops

Had a Couple Questions…

About the two special workshops… And yes they are similar to what we have done before. We know that.

The FANTASY THRILLER was a class we did in-person here in Las Vegas, taught by Kris. Very different format.

This special FANTASY THRILLER class will be three weeks and taught by me. Should be very different and very few people should have crossed over from that in-person class a few years back.

We also did a special workshop called WRITING STEAMPUNK AND FANTASY.  That was a few years back on a Fey Kickstarter. This one we wanted to focus on just WRITING STEAMPUNK, without adding in the fantasy element.  A very different focus.

So that is why the two special workshops seem familiar, yet Kris and I promise they will not be beyond the basics of the core topic.

Serebro Academy: A New Fey Novel

Watch the fun video Kris did for this… And jump into the special workshops. You also get a copy of the new novel with every reward.

Also note, you can get your choice of FOCUS BUNDLES. Each focus bundle has seven classes in it on a certain topic and in this campaign you can get your choice of one or three of the eight bundles for half price.

I did both Fantasy Thriller (follow along online) and Writing Steampunk and Fantasy. Both were fun and useful, I’ll go through them before the new classes.

I have taken WMG classes with similar topics (I have two How to Write a Pulphouse Story workshops, several sci fi and fantasy classes) and I learned a lot of new things in all of them. From my experience I’d recommend getting the classes.

Also I’m excited that this workshop is more focused on the Steampunk elements. I’m more familiar with writing fantasy elements. I also work with machines and processes, so it feel natural to add them to my stories, but it can be challenging at times. I look forwards to learning a lot.

All the information is on the Kickstarter. It is the only place the workshop is offered. Follow the link and scan down the story in the Kickstarter.
