Some Misc. Updates on Stuff…

Just Catching Up…

Start off, I lost almost nothing (a few assignments is all) with my computer melt-down. I find that amazing, although I do have a lot of new programs to learn and searching for things I knew are there. In other words, my system of six years got blown up as well. And right before a launch of a Kickstarter and in the middle of the Writing Career Camp.

I will be back reading for Pulphouse Fiction Magazine for the stories sent to me this spring from the SERIES COLLIDES Kickstarter. I thought I might have lost those, but thankfully I did not. So back reading so I can then stay ahead of the stories coming from the new Pulphouse campaign that just ended. I love reading stories from writers who have actually read the magazine.

My short-story challenge is not doing well, thanks to all the business stuff that had to be dealt with this last spring and then as I am back up and writing, my business computer goes “poof” and I have not finished a story now in 10 days. Still getting a bunch of words done, just not in the fashion I expected. So going to continue to focus on ramping up. I want to be up to my old speed by the middle of the fall. See what happens then.

Las Vegas Aces (Kris and I have season tickets) are doing a ton better and should make the playoffs, but now the question is where. 3rd or 4th would give us home court advantage. Mercury is in the way of that, so we shall see. (Pictures of us at the game on Kris’s Facebook page.)

And Las Vegas Raiders might surprise a few people this year. New coaches, new quarterback, a bunch of new players, so convinced we will do better than last year. Question is will it be enough to make the playoffs. Should be fun to watch most days. (We do not go to those games at all.)
