These Came Up In The Wednesday Webinar…

Most of you know that in our Kickstarter campaigns, for the last numbers of years, we have done special workshops. Most of the time they have been pretty basic and focused on one thing each. And in each Kickstarter campaign, we try to match the special workshops with the topic of the campaign.

It would be logical to do two mystery classes in the Candid Shots Mystery Stories of Kristine Kathryn Rusch.

But we have done a lot of mystery classes of different types. And then in the Wednesday webinar for the seminar, somewhere in the conversation the idea of doing an advanced “Atmosphere” workshop came up. Then I got really thinking about what makes these three books in the Candid Shots Kickstarter campaign special. And two major things came to mind.

1… Kris is a master of creating atmosphere in stories.

2… And Kris is a master in handling timelines.

So I’m thinking that the two Special Workshops in the coming Candid Shots Kickstarter campaign should be

“How to Float Timelines”… So readers follow without problems and never notice the techniques. Granted this is a much more advanced topic than we normally do in Kickstarter classes, but it would be a blast for me and Kris to put together.

“How to Create Atmosphere in Your Stories” would be the second one. This would be like advanced depth on steroids, again more advanced than normal, but again great fun for me and Kris to do.
