March Online Workshops Starting

March Online Workshops Starting…

Still room to jump in.

Also, in the next day or so I will announce something Kris and I are doing once again, against our better judgement, but because we got a great deal of requests to do it again after two years.

Strengths.

Only this time we will be doing it more extensively in a series of workshops to figure out where you are at and what you are strong at and areas you need to work on. The four areas will be Craft, Business, Sales, and Genre. Both basic and advanced in all four. (I’ll explain it all.)

They will be very similar to a regular workshop, only three weeks long with the same five focused exercises. We will give lots of advice on what you need to do, where to find help, exercises to do, and so on. And where you are strong already and how to stay strong in that area.

And just as two years ago, it will only be for a very short time. (We can only handle this for a short time and with a limited number of people since it is very one-on-one and personal help.) So stay tuned for that. I’ll have a full announcement on that in a few days.

But where else can you get two bestsellers and editors looking at your work and telling you where you are strong and where to work in areas and how to do it?

Aww man. I took the last one you offered way back when and found it quite interesting, but I really like how you’ve expanded it. But, no job and now have another parent with cancer. Phooey. Not gonna happen this time around. 🙁

For anyone else considering it, do it! Where else can you get this kind of information from TWO award winning long-term writers to help you grow as a professional? There’s so much out there for beginners, and not much for those past that point. Take advantage of this while you can!

Am I the only one worried about who will pick up this particular mantle once Dean and Kris stop doing it? 😛

Yeah, because of the one-on-one intense feedback in the Strengths stuff, we don’t do this any more often than once every few years. Too hard on us. A friend asked me this afternoon if I was crazy and I said yes, but only for a month or so. (grin)
