Some Fiction Campaigns That Are Worth Studying and Backing…

I do this every Friday when I have a few campaigns I think are worth putting here. Tonight three amazing campaigns.

I will not say much negative about a campaign. If there is too much or it is going to fail, I won’t post it here.

And for those wondering where I get off judging Kickstarter Campaigns by fiction writers, I have now done 59 of them, every one funded and made money. My first campaign was in the very early days of Kickstarter. But if yoyu are going to study campaigns that I have done, study the last year or so. I am continuing to learn.

And like some people browse and waste time on Facebook, I browse and waste time looking at campaigns on Kickstarter.

SOMETHING TO HELP YOUR CAMPAIGN…

I am doing a Kickstarter mentorship.

That’s right, one-on-one, I will help you build and launch a book kickstarter in the next three or four months (or whatever works for your timeline) that will fund, and get you readers for your books, then I will continue to help you with how to fulfill the campaign.

Fear stopping you. Or just not getting around to it. I can be the engine and deadlines that get you going and you can start any time with any project.

And then in the following six months I will help you with a second campaign. You will have two successful campaigns from this and have the confidence to keep doing more. (I will of course be around to answer questions.)

So afraid of doing a Kickstarter? Can’t pull the trigger? Or just want to do it right?

I have done 59 of them successfully and will work with you personally, one-on-one to help you launch a campaign that will fund. And then fulfill and launch a second one, fund, and fulfill.

Basically I will be your private Kickstarter instructor. I plan on learning a lot and having a blast, and helping you realize how much fun campaigns are as well.

Cost is $1,000 fee for my mentorship. Simply send the fee to PayPal and use the email dean@wmgpublishingstore.com.  We can start with your first one any time you would like, even next year. Questions, just write me.

Now To This Week’s Spotlighted Book Kickstarters

Winter Delights: A Joyful Collection Full of Holiday Cheer by Jason A. Adams

Oh, my, this is just about a perfect small campaign as they come. A holiday collection full of great stories by Jason. (I buy his stories regularly for Pulphouse Fiction Magazine. He is that good.)

His art is fun and fits the book perfectly (and I love his anti AI statement. I got to do something like that.)

And for heaven’s sake, take a look at his cool sweatshirts, t-shirts, mugs, and really nifty kitchen aprols.

Study this one folks and back it. I have. You’ll love the stories.

The Glass Slipper Heist: A Cozy Fantasy Cinderella Mystery by E. R. Paskey

Here is a second almost perfect campaign for mid-size. Very bright, cute art, and a ton of rewards of all kinds and shapes. Really, really fun stuff all the way. (And again a very clear and perfect anti AI statement.)

Emily has done a number of these campaigns and it shows in how her story flows, her choice of rewards, the fun images with bright colors.

This is a really good one and the book sounds wonderful as well. A heist novel that is a cozy, fantasy, Cinderella mystery. Okay, now that catches attention and sounds like great fun. Study this one and back it. I have back it. Just like Jason’s above, you can’t go wrong here.

ADVERSITY AND AUDACITY… Tales by Cancer Survivors by Lawrence M. Schoen

Now for something really worth supporting. I would not study this one, but the topic and Lawrence’s great editing and ability to put a project like this together is worth backing it. And knowing Lawrence as I have for decades, this book will be very, very powerful.

This will be a science fiction and fantasy anthology with all the stories written by cancer survivors. Lawrence in the opening tells a little about his own journey. I know a lot of writer friends lost to cancer. Sadly they will not be able to write for this fantastic project.

This is only a hundred or so away from funding, with a lot of days left to go. So jump in. Back this great cause and this fantastic science fiction and fantasy anthology all written by cancer survivors and edited by a great writer and cncer survivor himself.
