Some Campaigns I Think Are Worth Backing Or Studying Or Both!
I do this every Friday when I have a few campaigns I think are worth putting here. And this week there are some great ones!!!
I will not say much negative about a campaign. If there is too much or it is going to fail, I won’t post it here.
And for those wondering where I get off judging Kickstarter Campaigns by fiction writers, I have now done 58 of them, every one funded and made money. My first campaign was in the very early days of Kickstarter. But if yoy are going to study campaigns that I have done, study the last year or so. I am continuing to learn.
And like some people browse and waste time on Facebook, I browse and waste time looking at campaigns on Kickstarter.

Travis McGee Meets Matthew Scudder.
As many of you know, I am a major fan of Dave’s work and have had a story of Dave’s in just about every issue of Pulphouse Fiction Magazine. He has been nominated for and won a bunch of mystery awards and now he has come up with a brand new private detective. Folks, you won’t go wrong backing this campaign and getting this book. Might be some of the best mystery reading you will find all year.

Lady Ink: A Cozy Fairy Tale Inspired Fantasy by E.R. Paskey
Inkheart meets Howl’s Moving Castle in a whimsical no-spice YA fantasy romance with love, courage & what it truly means to be family.
A really fun cozy fantasy and the art and the layout of the campaign really gives you a feel of the book. Form showing content. And I have read a lot of Emily’s work and you really won’t go wrong with backing this and studying the campaign.

The Ghost in the Book Shop by Bonnie Elizabeth Koenig
A new Haunted Hotel paranormal cozy mystery set in North Carolina featuring a mature narrator, a nosy ghost, and a pair of Siamese Cats.
Really cute Kickstarter. The project and art and story match the feel of the book, which is perfect. Back this one and study how you make the campaign match the book or books being offered. Plus Bonnie is a great storyteller and you will love this story.

Lots of art, lots of covers, some good stretch rewards. Might want to study how this is done to bring more life into your own campaigns. And if you love great science fiction by the best and most awarded science fiction writer working, this is the campaign for you.
