In-Person Craft Workshops 2025

TWO GREAT NEW IN-PERSON CRAFT CLASSES…

Both taught by Kristine Kathryn Rusch.

With the Anthology Workshop in just under two weeks, and the fact that we announced the next Anthology Workshop in August of 2026, we got a bunch of questions about the next in-person craft workshops taught by Kris.

So Kris and I felt it was time to announce those as well so people can make travel plans and such.

We already have one scheduled in January for Space Opera, taught by Kris and held at the Resorts World here in Las Vegas. That has one spot remaining. (Write me for details.)

Now, for the last number of years, Gothic has been coming back strong in titles and great sales and Kris and I both love the form of gothic stories and novels, so we figured that would be great fun for a workshop.

And both of us love Adventure fiction and have been meaning to do a workshop focused on that. So this is what Kris decided to do for the  in-person craft classes in 2025.

• January 2025…  SPACE OPERA.

• May 12-15, 2025… GOTHIC

• Aug 4-7, 2025… ADVENTURE FICTION

Each class fee is $750 and lasts from Monday morning until Thursday at noon. Limited to only 14 writers. These are craft and writing classes with reading and writing ahead of time. You pay your own travel, food, and room.

• — If you have already been to an in-person class, just send the $750 fee to PayPal at dean@wmgpublishingstore.com and then write me at my regular email address and tell me which class you are interested in and I will get you on the list.
• —If you are one of the six Lifetime In-Person subscribers, write me to put you on the list.
• — If you have never been to an in-person class with us, please write me with some information about your writing.

These two workshops will fill. We will get the hotel block set up in the spring to save everyone money on the room rate.

And yes, both will have Study Along classes. I will have those up later this weekend.

The Study Along classes will be in the different Lifetime Subscriptions, so no worries there. In-person classes will not be. And you can use credit for the Study Along classes.

Gothic Fiction and Adventure Fiction. Craft Classes. Wow, will these be fun and your writing will be better when you are done.
