Happy Birthday, Kris!

BIG CHOCOLATE CAKE!!

With a picture of our two cats on it. So cool! Kris will show you on Facebook. But why the cake is so cool is that Kris can’t eat any milk products at all. Makes her deathly ill. In Lincoln City I used to try to bake her a milk-free cake, sometimes with good success, sometimes not so much. They never looked good.

But here in Vegas there are a bunch of bakeries that can bake her a nifty cake without the use of milk, and it tastes wonderful and looks very cool. I picked up the cake this afternoon made especially for her and tonight she wanted birthday cake, so we had some. Wow, was it good and I slept for a good hour napping afterwards from the sugar crash, But worth it. Yummy.

So far this week she is having a great birthday week. And tomorrow should be a lot of fun with a good lunch, a fun movie, and then a really fun dinner.

So happy birthday, Rusch. Damn am I glad you were born all those years ago. Love you.
