GETTING A FOCUS IN THESE WEIRD TIMES…
FOR MANY WRITERS, FOCUS ON WRITING AND PUBLISHING IS DIFFICULT…
… If not impossible because of all the stuff happening in the world. There is no doubt that the US government and our sick and ignorant con-man of a leader has gone off the rails in so many ways. This will pass in time, and he will be gone, but no telling how many will get hurt in that amount of time.
In the years of the pandemic, there were writers who could not focus, and others of us who dove into the writing to escape the world. That is what writers need to do now. Dive into your writing and escape, and create worlds to escape to for so many readers. I got through years of a horrid, abusive childhood by escaping into Andre Norton’s and Burroughs’ worlds. So many readers in this crazy time need the escapes that you create.
But how do you focus? You do so with purpose and often a framework to keep you focused. Kris and I are offering that framework in four different ways right now for a few writers.
