Friday Kickstarters
I Think These Campaigns Are Worth Looking At…
To study or back or both.
Before I start I need to tell you that I have a campaign starting on Tuesday at noon. Four Thriller Novels. Take a look if you get a chance.
The first one this Friday was one I thought was pretty good, but then I realized it had AI in it and I won’t support anything with AI. I would suggest none of you do either.
So here is a good one by a writer who has been in sf as long as Kris and I have and he has made the transition to indie. He is a pure Pulphouse-style writer but I have never been lucky enough to have a story from him in Pulphouse.
Sqinks… A Transreal Cyberpunk Love Story by Rudy Rucker.
Everything is good about this campaign. His cover is classic Rudy Rucker and he is selling edited manuscript pages and things like that. All fun, worth studying for knowing where you can push some edges.
And if you have never in the last 40 years read Rudy Rucker, you are in for a treat. And a very wild ride. Back this one.

House of Masks: A Gothic Space Opera by DeAnna Knippling
A 500+-page standalone space opera with modern Gothic sensibilities, the epic scope of a Dickens novel, and a slow build to chaos.
Really solid first campaign. And it has easily funded and doing well. Prices are too cheap, but that is something that can be learned for the next one. Good art, books need to be bigger but they work.
Again a very solid first campaign and worth looking at and backing.

I have a hunch from what I have been told and the campaigns I have looked at, I will have a bunch more next week.
Here is something fun and very short for my Thriller Novels campaign..
