A Standard Friday Night With Three New Cats
Read and Sort of Rested…
Got most of my half-mile of running in this afternoon when my knee started hurting and I stopped. I have really bad knees from all the years in sports, so I listen when they tell me enough. I’ll rest it a day or two and go back. I still walked two miles on it and ran across the highway without it hurting, but a few twinges on the stairs tonight.
Got to get the weight down before the distance comes up too much or I will have more trouble with the knees. Nature of the beast.
Then did a bunch of workshop stuff and cooked dinner and all that. And read a bunch of short stories, both for the challenge and for Pulphouse.
And then I watched a bunch of television tonight with the three new cats. They are all wonderful, very different, but wonderful.
Specials Going Away and Offers Ending on June 1st.
STRENGTHS SPECIALS… The workshops will still be there for those signed up, but the specials included with them will vanish. Right now if you get three of them, the fourth one is free. That offer will end on June 1st. And right now if you take all six for the price of five, you get a free online workshop as well. That will end as well on June 1st. Write me for more information or check under the Strengths tab above.
SPECIAL LECTURE SUBSCRIPTION PRICES… Those will all end on June 1st. All the lectures will remain active, of course, but the special subscription price will go away.
NOVEL CHALLENGE… I had one more brave soul sign up to write three novels in three months and one person, due to family issues, had to drop out. So still two spots left if anyone interested. Starts June 1st and will close at that point.
June 1st is next Thursday, one week away, for those of you like me who tend to lose track of time. (grin)

I was wondering what kind of advancement schedule you were planning. Meaning, I hope you weren’t planning to up your distance daily. I suggest keeping the same goal for about a week, maybe two. “Master” that before advancing. Great goal, Dean, but take it slow. 🙂

J.D., nope was going to just advance for four days, rest, drop back to short and advance again for four days. Right now I am in rest mode because of a knee and will start the advance next week with just a quarter mile start. I can’t do too much at this weight until the weight drops, which it is doing finally.
