A Sports Day…

Unusual For Me These Days…

But today was the first round of the WNBA playoffs and we follow the Aces and are season ticket holders. But we stayed home today to get work done.

Kris was up ahead of me like normal and she watched the New York Liberty just toast the Links, the number one seed in the tournament.

I made it down for close to the start of the Aces game against the Fever. Good basketball for a time, but the Aces were just too much for them and pulled away and the score was a rout by the end. Great start to the playoffs for the Aces.

Then I switched over to see how the Las Vegas Raiders were doing against the Saint. The Raiders are 2-0 to start the season, but the Saints are a good team and the game was in New Orleans. Raiders were down ten when I turned it on, but it seems this year the Raiders have a team, a really good one, and ended up winning by a ways in the end, to be one of the few teams to be 3-0 starting the season.

Going to be fun to watch the sports “experts” who seem to only pay attention to Dallas (horrid start) and Green Bay (even a more horrid start) and never once mention the Raiders, even though we got the number one draft pick and have yet to play him.

So a really fun sports day here in Vegas. And I g0t a bunch of stuff done on my collections today as well.
