WRITING CAREER CAMP…

Online July 15th through August 12th

Since we did the last master class back six or seven years ago, we have been trying to come up with a way to bring everything in indie publishing and writing together. And have it all presented in a way that makes sense.

With our regular workshops and classes and such, there are so many gaps of large areas we are missing that we want to cover. Really important gaps to indie writers and publishers.

So for four weeks, we are going to do our best to cover everything we can, in an orderly fashion that will help writers of all levels make sense of this new indie world.

Instructors…

Dean Wesley Smith… New York Times and USA Today bestselling writer of 200 novels, over 800 books, and 500 plus short stories.

Kristine Kathryn Rusch… New York Times and USA Today bestselling writer of 200 novels and over 400 plus short stories. Winner of more awards in science fiction, fantasy, and mystery than any author alive today.

Stephanie Writt… Design expert for covers, Kickstarter art, and promotion and one of the best fiction-cover designers working today. Plus she works with VAs on so many publishing aspects that are critical.

FOUNDATION OF HOW THIS WILL WORK…

— The basis will be 5 recorded videos per day five days per week (Mon-Fri) for the entire time. 100 core videos.
— Extra videos regularly such as quick craft exercises and craft reminders from Kris.
— Extra videos regularly such as design tips from Steph as well as listing and Shopify tips and SEO tips.
— Extra videos regularly such as business tips from Dean on setting up your business, taxes, and corps.
— Extra videos on tips on doing Kickstarter and Book Videos from Kris.
— Questions each day will be answered in extra videos the next day.
— Lots of varied add-ons for specific topics with instructors. Add-ons will have small fees and will be offered ahead of time and as we go along or upon request (see partial list below).

— Cost is $600. ($500 before July 1st. After that $600 if spots still remain open.)

— Four Weeks… Tuesday July 15th to Tuesday August 12th. (Although we may be giving extra out ahead of time for those signed up.)
— This is not a Teachable or a Writer Store or an In-Person class. This a one-time stand-alone class. No subscriptions or credits can be used.
— All videos will be recorded and can be accessed at any time into the future by those attending.
— THIS WILL NOT BE FOR SALE AT A LATER TIME. Again, just a one-time event limited to 25 writers.

— Promotion for Fiction in 2025… What works… How to do it, When (A ton of information here to cover)
— Shopify for Fiction… How to Build… When Needed (and so, so much more)
— Licensing and Branding and Products (when and why, especially why and how on products)
— Paper and Hardbacks into Physical Stores (how and why and when to do that and when not to)
— SEO for Fiction. What it does and How… (a bunch here to talk about)
— Hiring VA Help… When, How, Why (methods, tricks, and budgets)
— Advanced Business Structures… When, Why, and How (You may not be there yet, but good to know)
