Update on Challenge and Vellum Battle

Won the Vellum Battle…

I am sure I will have issues at times, but they will be minor. Got my collection through Vellum and turned into StoryBundle and that bundle will launch in a couple of days. I will do covers in InDesign, most interiors in Vellum, Smith Monthly interiors in InDesign, and fun Kickstarter designs in Canva.

And that collection (called MY SOCKS ROLLED DOWN AND OTHER STORIES) is also book #1 in my challenge of 75 major books published in my 75th year.

A few things have shifted for me in that for the first time in my life, I want to have every one of my short stories out for sale stand-alone and also in ten story collections. That is a lot of short stories. And I will be doing it all.

I will work on building my platforms for my short fiction as the year goes by, including new issues of Smith’s Monthly and giving away a story on my web site every week and so on. I will be writing some novels along the way, but my focus is my short fiction, getting those stories out, and the collections up to hit my 75 major books in my 75th year.

Some new non-fiction writing books will be included in that as well along the way.

Damn, this is exciting for me and I am having a blast.
