Challenge,  On Writing

Skip Second Day… Not Worried

Another Long and Fun Day…

I didn’t even think about moving over to the writing computer to write tonight. Started off this morning with movers helping me move stuff from first the offices, then this house, then from the bookstore. A massive move-around that needed to be done to stage the next step in this move. Many hours and physically draining, even though they were doing most of the lifting.

Remember, this challenge is to write 30 stories in 30 days while moving. Today was not only the start of the Fantasy workshop here at the coast, but a massive moving day. So no thought of writing tonight. Not even planned.

What was planned was time for  me to take care of myself. Kris is in Vegas and she has been working on me to try to get more sleep and at least three meals. (I sometimes forget to eat.) So when a day looked as nuts as today looked, taking care of myself on this challenge was to take the night off.

So how will I do thirty stories this month? Just watch and stay tuned. (grin).

The Day

Moving for three hours starting early, then an hour negotiating on some comics from a seller, then some workshop stuff, then the Fantasy Workshop folks showed up and that took until after nine tonight.

Matt and Josh, everything went smoothly with all the electronic systems. Thank you both!!

Then back to the house here to do assignments for the last day of the Pop-up workshops. The Indie Game workshop seemed to turn out really, really well. Better than I had hoped, so we will schedule that one again next month.

Then I did the assignments for the first week of the Insider’s Guide workshop with the webinars starting tomorrow. Four weeks, four webinars. Still time to jump into either Selling Short Fiction or Writing Space Opera workshops. These will not be repeated anytime soon, even though I think they are doing great. Just not going to lock myself into webinars for too long with this move and stuff. Maybe next fall. But still time to jump in now.

So even though I am tired, very tired, this was always a planned day off. Yesterday was not, this one was. Back on schedule writing and packing tomorrow.
