Middle of the Night
The Problem With My Schedule…
I tend to like to write and work on things in my office from 1 a.m. until almost 6 a.m. My night (for sleeping) is until 1 p.m., sometimes 2 p.m.
So this morning I was on the phone with some financial people at 9:30 a.m., down at the estate house by 10:30 a.m. and worked solid until after 4 p.m.
Think of this way. If you normally went to bed at midnight and slept until 7:30 or 8, what I did was get up at 3:30 in the morning in that schedule and stay up.
Ughh… And got to do it one more day tomorrow.
One nice thing that happened is that when I woke up from a two-hour nap on the bed around 7 p.m., our not-so-feral-anymore white cat was sleeping on the bed with me. Only taken about 16 months to get him this far and he’s turning into a really nice cat. Still scared of everything, but calming.
So I was going to write about something fun tonight, but sat down here and went “Nope. Go get some sleep.”
So tomorrow.

Take care of yourself, Dean. We’ll be here tomorrow. And the next day. 🙂

Cat pictures are always a good substitute for busy days. It’s good to hear that you’re not-so-feral-anymore cat is gradually accepting his forever home.

It’s a lovely thing when they give you that trust. Everything in their world is scary, but then they do stuff like that and sleep with you. Sweet.
