Challenge,  On Writing,  publishing

Mentorships Still Availble…

Lots of Interest…

But so far this is still open.

Two posts ago I gave the full story on how these came about and the history. Do read that.

So as I said, I can safely handle two more writers. Write me if interested and I will answer what questions I can..

Cost is $3,000.  (This is just between you and me, no one else, although your partner is fine to ride along.)

Any topic about writing and publishing is valid. I would be here to help you for as long as you want me to, meaning for years. But I do ask that every Sunday (or Monday or at least every other week) you write me an email telling me how it is going, ups, downs, questions, anything. As I said, I will help with covers and sales copy and general publishing stuff, but again I will not be a first reader for anything. I want you to be your own writer, doing your own work.

One question that came up is what if something happened to me like it did my friend Dave Farland. In the first year the full amount would be refundable. After that we consider it vested.

So if interested in me helping you jump forward with your writing and publishing, and you making a commitment to  write me a letter every Sunday or Monday about your publishing and writing, just email me. Put in the subject line “Mentor” and I will tell you how we go from there. Or if you have questions, feel free to ask me.

And those of you who started into this all those years ago, remember I am still here to answer questions for you at any point, even if you are no longer writing the regular check-in letter.

For those of you on the fence, Dean means it.

I was part of the first round of this and Dean is still answering my weekly emails (and other emails) 5 years later.

Just the process of reflecting on my week, on what was done, on what I missed and knowing Dean is on the other side has been so valuable. This process has helped me keep at it, helped me keep focused on writing and publishing, stopped me from stopping many times.

It’s been so worth it. Thanks so much Dean!
