How is the 75 in 75 Challenge Going?

Got That Question a Few Times This Week…

So the answer is great! 10 weeks into the challenge. The challenge for me this year is to publish 75 major books in my 75th year.

10 weeks in and none published yet, but 10 books not far away. And another ten a week or so later.

MY SOCKS ROLLED DOWN and Nine Other Stories appeared in a Story Bundle. I will publish it wide in three or four weeks with nine other ten-story collections I have already put together.

FIVE DETECTIVES COLLIDE were in the Kickstarter for January and will be out by March. Paper in June.

FOUR ESSENTIAL PUBLISHING BOOKS Kickstarter starting on Tuesday. (see yesterday’s post). Those will be out in April-June. Paper in July.

So by the first week of April I should have 17-20 books published wide and on the WMG Books store. I am hoping for another ten by that point, but we shall see. First part of any challenge is always slow for me, but this one is getting off to a great start. Ideally I would love to have 30-plus published by early May and more in the pipeline.

I hope after two more learning curves on a few things that I will lay out a Smith’s Monthly and have that firing up every month this spring. Got to spend some days on the Anthropic lawsuit as well since Kris and I have 50 or so books in it, plus a ton of short stories. That will take some time. So many pen names. Yikes…

But overall, I am very happy with where I am at in the 75 in 75 challenge.
