ANTHOLOGY IN-PERSON WORKSHOP

Anthology Workshop Starts Two Weeks From Today

All the writing is done for the six anthologies, both for the writers attending and the writers doing the Prepare Ahead classes. (Actually those attending got the Prepare Ahead classes for free.) Editors and those attending are now reading.

The six anthologies that will be put together at the anthology class will be brand new volumes of Fiction River, our wonderful anthology series that we had to shut down because of the pandemic. They will be released through Kickstarter promotions over the next two years as we rebrand and relaunch Fiction River, all of the previous volumes, all fifty or sixty of them. (Why it will take two years including adding in the eix new volumes. (grin))

We are holding the in-person class at the wonderful RESORTS WORLD here in Las Vegas, which is so large and has so many restaurants, no one needs to go out into the heat. So we are all really looking forward to this workshop in two weeks. Going to be super fun.

And six anthologies will be put together during the three days. And a lot of business talking and networking at night every night.

We plan on continuing the anthology workshop again every two years, to not only add more volumes into Fiction River but to have fun with other new anthology projects as time goes on.

So we are going to announce now the Anthology Workshop for 2026.

That’s right, not next year, but two years out.

Tentative dates are August 3-6 2026. Resorts World, Las Vegas.

Cost is $1,000 fee to attend. (Up $100 from this year.)

Editors to be determined.

This in-person workshop is very limited and it will fill up and have a waiting list. So those really interested in getting your name on the list for the 2026 Anthology Workshop, if you jump in before this year’s class ends, meaning by August 8yh, we will lower the fee to $750.

Only for this short time ahead of the 2024 workshop, because we are two years out. (All fees are fully refundable up until one month before the workshop if you have to cancel for any reason.) Fee also will include the Prepare Ahead classes that will be available in spring of 2026. Those have a value of $900 total but included for everyone attending 2026.

To get your name on the list for the 2026 Anthology Workshop, just write me directly and I will give you instructions on how to pay the reduced fee.

Two weeks and counting and I am excited. In my reading I have already found a few stories I hope the editors don’t buy because I want them for Pulphouse. (grin)

As this gets closer I am remembering how much I loved doing these Anthology Workshops. I think we have been doing them now for over 20 years. Wow.

Looking forward to the future.

GREAT BUNDLE SALE REFRESHER…

I got so busy with the Pulphouse Subscription Drive Kickstarter, (Thank you everyone!!) I forgot to shut off the Great Bundle sale on Teachable.

I said the day before the Kickstarter that the Great Bundle Sale Extended to Any Class on Teachable instead of only bundles.

Not just bundles, but any class. But it was supposed to be for only one dy…  Well, seems like that day stretched into ten days. (grin) I got distracted for some reason.

And a few writers noticed and took advantage of it still going on. The great forgotten workshop sale… sigh…

So to be fair, we are going to extend the GREAT BUNDLE sale for one more week for everyone.

AND FOR ANYTHING.

To get any class or bundle at half price, simply go to WMG Teachable, find the class or bundles you want, and hit purchase. Then put in the code…

GREATBUNDLE

And hit apply and you will have it for 50% off. Good for everything on Teachable, including the Lifetime subscriptions, including the Lifetime Everything Subscription.

And if you already have a subscription or a bunch of classes and are interested in the sale for Lifetime Everything Subscription, write me directly and I can knock off a little more from the sale price, which is a deal anyway.

So this is a forgotten sale… Take advantage of my bad memory while you can because no more workshop sales planned this year.
