Total Focus Forward…

And honestly, after the last few years of swirling with problems from the past, that feels wonderful.

All of our planning time, and most meals, are discussions about what we want to do in this area or that area and how. And right now, the wonderful Chris York is in town and we will have official meetings. For the last two years, Chris has been our accountant and cleaning up more organizational problems than I care to think about. Not only is Chris an amazing writer under a bunch of names, she has worked as a business accountant for a very long time. And wow did we need that.

Planning is critical for a new year, especially if you don’t want to end up in the same spot one year from now. And for us, with the wonderful Steph moving on into her own worlds, Kris and I have to make a lot of decisions as to what we want to do.  We are working toward doing everything ourselves, and with 1,200 plus titles and more coming all the time, that will be tough and also a lot of fun.

Now to go get some sleep so that tomorrow I can be clear-headed enough to do even more planning. I hope your planning on how to start the new year is going well.
